Here's me and my son mid way up a mountain! You can't see them, but at the bottom of our basket are mushrooms we foraged from the woods. When we got home my husband fried them with onions and cheese and they were delicious!

My lovely mother in law bought me this Kroj inspired outfit. Kroj is the traditional clothing of Slovakia and I am OBSESSED with it. Each region has a different style of Kroj. I went to the library in my husband's village and my obsession was so clear, that the librarian gifted me this kroj book...

On the trip I left my phone at home a lot, so I didn't get as many photos as usual, instead I documented my favourite things in a comic book style...

If you know me well, you will know that my father in law is a bonsai master. His garden is a work of art! My mother and father in law just got a puppy, she's 5 months old. We spent hours playing with her in the garden!

The scenery in Dolny Kubin is so cinematic, lush green forests, majestic mountains. I can't wait to go back next year!
LOVE ALWAYS WINS
Laura
